Girl with a Pearl Earring.

This painting is created by Johannes Vermeer (1632-1675). The painting is also called "The Dutch Mona Lisa". The official tale about this painting goes like this. The model who sits in front of Vermeer was the maid of the Vermeer family. And the master himself fell in love with that girl, but his wife forced that maid to flee away because that kind of relationship is not acceptable. The story mentions that Vermeer gave that earring to that girl as a gift. And of course, that beautiful and sad story gave an innovation for the movie's plays. But the fact is that story is a myth.

But the fact is that in the most modern theories that girl didn't even have that famous earring. When we are taking a closer look at the earring. We might see that is not even the pearl. It looks like a metal ball or maybe a droplet of mercury. And then we might look at the blue bandana that the girl wears. The blue color might mean that the thoughts of that girl are from heaven because the blue color means heaven.

When we are looking at religious paintings. And one of them is pictured in Valamo Monastery in Finland (The Second image), we see a holy person wearing a blue toga. There is an interesting detail in that painting that was photographed in Valamo. In the place of the tree is the ghost-looking area there could be the figure that somebody tried to vanish. There could be larger Mary, the mother of Jesus creature. But that creature is wiped away for some unknown reason. The shape of that thing remains in that painting.

The blue color could mean that the person hides his identity. So the blue bandana could mean that the girl is very intelligent. And the mercury droplet means that the person who is in the image has impressive thoughts that sometimes drop to other people. The mercury droplet means that even if the person will try to hide the intelligent nature there are always dropping nice and beautiful ideas that have the price in gold.

The analyses of the Botticelli's painting "The Annunciation"

The Annunciation" c. 1485-92
(Metropolitan museum of art)
(Picture I)
http://gamesandtehories.blogspot.com/p/the-analyses-of-botticellis-painting.html

Kimmo Huosionmaa

"The Annunciation" is a painting, what Botticelli (Alessandro di Mariano di Vanni Filipepi  (1445-1510)) painted in c. 1485-92 is one of the masterpieces of religious arts, and it's the remarkable thing in the history of arts. The reason, why Alessandro di Mariano Filipepi used the name "Sandro Botticelli" in his arts might be caused that this man painted the religious painting, and that's why he had to cover his identity. Those paintings were the politically sensitive thing, and if the painting didn't please the customer, would that cause the prosecution in the inquisition, and in the worst case death, if the inquisition would translate that the painting was blasphemy or it predicts the death of the ruler of the country or even the pope.

In the painting "The Annunciation" Botticelli portraits Virgin Mary, but there are some details, what people might never see. In the painting, the character of the woman is painted in two times, and that's why this image is remarkable. The detail means that in the painting, the Virgin Mary has two roles the role as an angel and the role as the pious woman. Many times I have thought, why Botticelli painted this painting that way, that there is like two Virgin Mary's in the space, what is separated by the wall.

And this thing should create thoughts in the head of the people. The meaning of that art is to warn, that the powerful men have powerful spouses. In this case, the woman or person, who sits next to the men could be even the secretary of the pope. And that means if something hurts that person, or somebody leave that lady without service, would that told probably direct to the pope, and that could cause things, what nobody wants to face.

The idea of this painting is very simple, the angels are walking on Earth in the form of the human, and they would tell everything to the God. The Angel-figures are meaning messenger, and there are many translations about those figures. Angels could mean the nuns or monks, who told everything to the Pope, if somebody played or did something, what was not allowed. The meaning of the angel figure is to remember that somebody always tells the things, what should not be told.

And that's why this figure means simply the message. But it meant the undercover surveillance, and also protectors, who secretly protected especially the children. Because if the parents would humiliate their children they must remember, that in some day own children are stronger than their parents. And this is the reason, why the angels are often portrayed to stand next to the beds of the children. Somebody always sees the injuries, what the humiliation caused. The angel figure is very common in the medieval art, and it has many roles in the world of religious art, what is made for the official use of the church and their officials.

Gift of the luck is not always same for the group

Barge Haulers on the Volga
Ilya Repin
(1870-1873)

Kimmo Huosionmaa

Barge Haulers on the Volga is a portrait, where great Russian artist thinks about work. This portrait raises the question in the people head: who actually does the job? There are many aspects in this portrait, and one of them is, who actually does everything in the state? Who goes to war in if the ruler of the state would want to go to the war?

In the real life is always people, who get more about their jobs than others in that group.  The role of the suffering is always reserved to workers, who don’t, of course, have any education. This portrait might inspire Karl Marx or Friedrich Engels in the Surplus Value Theory, what has transformed in the hands of sociologists to the theory, what has the same name, but different content and message to the people.

In sociology, The Surplus Value Theory means that some workers don’t do anything in their workplace, and the leaders of the state would see different things in the same thing than other people. When high-class aristocrat told other people about the barge-haulers, they meant the people, who owned those vessels. When the owners of those vessels told about those barge haulers, they meant the captains of those vessels.

They didn’t mean the men who pulled the vessels. And this is the very good thing to think even in the modern working life. If we were captains of that vessel, we would do that job even 12 hours per day, but those men who pull this thing would not stand that long. In this picture is a message that even if the persons have the same salary for this work, then another person would get more than others. The superiority official makes light and easy days, but the people who pull this thing has very hard work to do.

In this picture is the good message about the work of the boss. This person might put all work to his henchmen, and then he must not do anything. If the person doesn’t do single work during his workday, this might make those days boring. And that kind of place is actually very light for those persons, who could do even 16 hours working day in their offices. So this is the message of this famous portrait, what is a very good example of the Russian realism from 19th. century.

This painting could be from any battlefield around the world.

"Burned village"
Albert Edelfelt
(1879)

Kimmo Huosionmaa

Above this text is a painting, what we all know. It’s Albert Edelfelt’s “Burned village”, and it is the vision of the burned house. There is a couple of people managed to escape from that place before the military men came and killed all. This vision could be from any war in the world, and it could be the portrait of attack to some village in German Eastern front. Those cavalrymen were painted without details, what helps to return this kind of happenings in the mind if some person were in that kind of situation.

This painting could be the portrait of an attack against civilians. And the message of this painting, is somebody always sees, what really happened. This portrait might be used in some memory therapy, where the therapist tries to find out why some person sees nightmares all the time. So the question of this portrait is that it is painted in 1879, and this picture could be based on the real story.

And when we are thinking about the war crimes, this picture would portray anything from the medieval period to “Einsatzgruppen” actions in the Eastern front. There would be burning house, and a small child, who would not remember this thing in the adult age. But when this young boy returns to that place, would he remember everything, and in the worst case, could this boy became the knight, if he were adopted into the right family.

Remember that this boy would hide his past, and in this painting is a message, that even the child is small, would he grow bigger and stronger. In many war crimes the leader of those crimes would claim, that they have right to do that thing. This painting always makes me think many things. One is that why somebody wants to burn that village? Is that because the maker of that crime wanted to cause hate inside civilians minds?

In some “Einsatzgruppen” operations were used Ukrainian SS-men, who were used Soviet weapons, because the SS wanted that people hate Soviets. Those men were easy to liquidate as the war criminals, and nobody would ever believe, that orders made by the German army. Those units were known as “Terror” or T-units.

Somebody claims that NKVD had similar units, what used German uniforms and shot the co-operatives of SS. If this unit was true, It worked that those men came to the village in SS-uniforms, and then those men have executed those cooperatives immediately. This methodology was in use in the “Phoenix”-program, what was made by Americans in Vietnam War. The “Phoenix”-operators claimed that they were some kind of V.C sympathizers, and then those operators executed the V.C members, who came to talk with them.

Nobody gets money for nothing and Kazimir Malevich was no exception

Kazimir Malevich "Suprematism"
(Suprematists composition 1916)

(Picture 1)

Kimmo Huosionmaa

Kazimir Malevich (1878-1935) was one of the artists who made so-called futuristic paintings in the area of cubism. This man was the very remarkable person in the area of this art. And here we must say, that Stalin didn’t like this man style to make the art, and this is why he was not very popular in the Soviet Union. The art style, what this man represented was so called corruption, and it was not supported, what meant that those paintings were prohibited. One of his best-known painting was so-called ”Black Square” from 1912, what became the synonym for all modern art, whatever painted in the world.  But that simple painting was not only worked what Malevich made. One of his most remarkable work is the ”Suprematism”, what seems very well known the thing.

Some engineers think that this painting gave the idea for making the laser (Light Amplification of Stimulated Emission of Radiation. Or what would you think about this painting? The structure of the parts of that paintings might look like the laser, and somebody sees there a glass element, where the lightning tubes will pump the radiation, what will be increasing in that element when photons are traveling in the element between two mirrors. Some other persons see in that painting the model of MIG-welding machine. The MIG-welding machine is a equipment, where the electric arc will burn between the metal wire, what travels thru the grip, and the system bases that the electric arc will be protected by protective gas like carbon monoxide.

Kazimir Malevich
(1878-1935)

Maybe this is only the imagination, but I believe that nobody ever gets money for nothing. The reason why I believe that is the little triangle in one line, what might be the mark of direction how the wire must go. In this hypothesis this painting was one kind of ”memory paper” or maybe it was painted by some Soviet military institute for covering some military secrets of that state.  And because of this painting, I always have thought that Malevich was not the real artist.

I think that maybe this person was some kind of engineering specialist, whose identity was covered by the security service. Malevich painted many paintings what were named as "suprematism" and probably he liked that world very much. But somebody thinks that this man was somehow different than other people.  Anyway, he was the remarkable artist whose paintings are now in Russian art museum with respect to his work.
