Did ancient Greek philosophers believe in aliens?

The fact is that those ancient philosophers believed in gods, and some more- or less scientifical writers transformed those gods of mount Olympus into aliens that landed on Earth a long time ago. In the same way, some people believe that Plato's Atlantis was some kind of alien base. But the fact is that the "alien base" can mean the base, that used some kind of extraordinary methods or weapons. 

The thing that supports the "alien base" theory is that those people in ancient Greece didn't know genetics and aviation so they cannot imagine things like the UFOs. There is a question did some see some of those gods fly. The story of Icarus is telling about the hero, who flew too close to the sun, and that can feed theories of ancient UFOs. But there could be also other versions of that kind of theory. 

But we know that there is no visible evidence of some alien astronauts on the Greek Mount Olympus. But the explanation for that thing is simple. Somebody believes that the "real" Mount Olympus was somewhere else like in the Himalayas, some Arctic island, or maybe that "real" Olympus was the mountain of the mythic Atlantis island that could be an island that have been detonated. 

So was the Atlantis the ancient Greek version of Port Royal, the capital of Pirates? If that thing is true, that explains why the mythic Atlantis is not very often mentioned. 

So could the volcano of Thera (Santorini) or possibly the fallen volcano of Island Tenerife the original Mount Olympus. We can think that the alien stories are only stories, but the question is do we believe them. There is the possibility that the Atlantis was some area on some island. And that the Atlantis was a secret place and that name was not commonly used in the Mediterranean area. 

Let's start to think about the possibility that a place called "Atlantis" was the capital of pirates. There is the possibility that the mythic "Sirens" were ancient pirates who used swimming suits that were made of catfish skin. And who used acoustic weapons made from the skull of whales?

But then we must realize a couple of things. The god means a creature that is superior to others. So there is the possibility that the gods of Olympos were people who had some extraordinary skills. Maybe things like parabolic mirrors are making a very big impression on people, who are not seen even fire yet. 

When we are thinking of the stories of the people with lizard skin we are forgetting that the skin of the catfish is suitable also for protective clothes like swimming and diving suits. And the things like the "sing of sirens" might be formed by using the skull of some whales. 

There are air channels in the whale's skulls that are called the melon. The purpose of that organ is to strengthen and aim the sound of the whales' sonar. And the melon can turn sound so strong that it will cripple the prey. So maybe mythical sirens used the sound that was made by using the whale skulls.

We, humans, are aliens even together.

Is this UFO true or fake?

We, humans, are aliens together if we think the relation between western civilization and as an example some Bushmen, who live in Kalahari-desert. Our airplanes and other machines are UFO:s to those people, who live in the stone-age. And this has caused ideas about the ancient state, what would be created very impressive technological advantages, and then they just disappeared. But this is only the hypothetical theory, and there are not many pieces of evidence that support it.  Here I must say, that writing is fun, and I thought that I would write something about UFO:s and their connection with mythical Atlantis.

Maybe those hypothetical members of the ancient civilization were moved to the Universe because the climate of the Earth changed by the meteorite, what destroyed dinosaurs. But there is no evidence about that civilization, and that's why this writing is pure fiction or philosophical thoughts. And as you see, philosophy would give us change to say imagination as the hypothesis, what gives title philosophical thinking for pure fiction.


I thought that I will write this text because there are many theories about the UFOs. And if we would look at the picture, what is above the text, we might notice, that if that saucer-shaped object, what might be some kind of STEALTH-drone, what is used by pumping electricity by using radio-masers, that craft would not explode, because there would not involve any  fuel, what can cause explosion.  Or of course, that picture might be the hoax, but it works as a good example of the thing "what could the UFO:s be?".


Of course, it can be some kind of demonstrator, what uses batteries and electric motors, and maybe it was used demonstrator for next-generation STEALTH-helicopters, what must operate without any noise.  Again Pentagon has released more UFO-files, and I have the opinion, that UFO phenomenon is caused by top secret military aircraft, weapon research or extraterrestrial visitors. In the UFO:s involved many incredible theories about ancient aliens, but there was no evidence of them in nature.


But sometimes I have got incredible thought in my mind, what is based on Plato's tale of mythical tale of the Atlantis. I sometimes read this thing from some book, but it consists the silly theory, that maybe somewhere in the past was one civilization on Earth. And that theory is not so silly, as we might first think. This theory or philosophical thought bases the thing, what we see around us in every day. We must say that modern humans are aliens to other humans. Or what would you like the situation, that some nations have Jumbo-Jets, and some people use still pikes and axes for hunting, and they live in the stone age?


They are living without any technology, those people are nomads and some of them are quite primitive like Bushmans, that live in Kalahari-desert. This difference between technical advantages people inside the human race has made kicks for theories, that in the past was the civilization on Earth, what had the very high level of technical advantages.  And for some reason, that ancient civilization left Earth, and maybe those members of that civilization were reptilians, that lived in the Yucatan area.  And then some meteorites came, and those ancient reptilians left to  Universe for looking new home.


This theory is not the worst of theories about UFO:s, and in this thought, the reptilians escaped from Earth, because of the climate change, what caused the meteorite, that hit the Yucatan area. There are many incredible thoughts about this so-called "ancient aliens", and in some theories, that civilization must be left from Earth, because that was attacked by some stronger civilization.


And when those aliens left the Earth they destroyed the bases, by using meteorites, for covering their existence. As we have seen, we are even today humanoids for other people. And when we are thinking our technical advantage compiling with people, who are living in stone-age, we must think, that are humanoids some people, who traveled to the universe? Maybe we would someday send the people to the other stars.


Because those people are of course highly intelligent, and they would have the very sophisticated technology in use, they might advantage their technology and their genomes would be replaced by some local genomes, and that means that those colonialists would advance and separate from original humans very fast, and then they might become aliens for ourselves.

"Fenix-teoria" sekä mietelmä siitä, miten irti päässyt tekoäly voisi vaarantaa ihmiskunnan

Elokuvan "Moontrap" robotti

Kaikki me olemme joskus katsoneet niin sanottuja “B-elokuvia”, joiden trailereita tähdittää yliampuva selostus, ja joissa olevat ideat eivät aina toteudu täysin, koska noiden elokuvien budjetit ovat niin kamalan pieniä. Kuitenkin noissa elokuvissa on käytetty mielikuvitusta, ja niissä esitetyt ideat ovat oikeastaan melko hyviä, vaikka toteutus saattaa hieman ontua, ja syynä on usein juuri pieni budjetti. Kun katsotaan esimerkiksi elokuvaa nimeltään “Moontrap”, niin siinä sivutaan sitä aihetta, mikä kiinnostaa kaiken maailman salaliittoteoreetikkoja, eli miksi USA ei palannut Kuuhun? Tuo elokuva käsittelee tätä asiaa sellaisesta näkökulmasta, mitä kutsutaan “Fenix-teoriaksi”.

Eli kyseinen ehkä hiukan omintakeinen teoria lähtee siitä, että ihmiskunta on kerran tuhonnut oman sivilisaationsa, ja sitten meidän oma sivilisaatiomme on taas alkanut kehittää noita ammoin unohtuneita kojeita uudelleen. Jos esimerkiksi UFO:ja tarkastellaan tuon teorian näkökulmasta, niin silloin tietenkin voidaan lähteä siitä, että nuo “UFO”:t ovat oikeastaan toisten ihmisten luomuksia, jotka olisivat erittäin paljon valtaväestöä kehittyneempiä, mutta he ikään kuin salaisivat tuon hallussaan olevan teknologian. Kuten olen useasti kirjoittanut, niin nämä teoriat ovat elämän suola, ja niissä riittää paljon pohdittavaa. Ja tällainen asia sitten varmasti antaa aiheen ties millaisille elokuville sekä kirjoille.  

Siinä juoni lähtee siitä, että kauan sitten on ihminen lentänyt Kuuhun, ja sitten perustanut sinne tukikohdan. Kyseessä on siis eräänlainen “Atlantis”-myytin muunnos, joka on esitetty monissa yhteyksissä. Sitä kuka tuon teorian on esittänyt en muista, mutta itse kyllä pidän teoriaa, missä ihmiskunta on kerran tuhouduttuaan nousemassa tuhkasta aivan kuin “fenix-lintu” erittäin mielenkiintoisena pohdinnan kohteena. Kun puhutaan puhtaista ajatus-leikeistä, niin silloin tietenkään meidän ei tarvitse osoittaa mitään todeksi, mutta kuten varmaan tiedätte, niin tällaiset pohdinnat rikastuttavat keskusteluja sekä tekevät elämästä mielenkiintoisen.

Tuo teoria lähtee siitä, että nyt me ihmiset ja meidän kulttuurimme elää niin sanottua “toista kukoistusta”, mikä tarkoittaa sitä, että joskus kauan sitten olisi ihmiskunta lentänyt avaruuteen sekä tuottanut robotteja, jotka sitten olisivat nousseet jotenkin kapinaan, ja hyökänneet ihmisten kimppuun, lähettäen meidät välillä kirjaimellisesti kivikaudelle, josta sitten taas olemme nousseet ylös kehittäen taas uuden sivilisaation.

Tiedättekö muuten miksi salaliittoteoreetikkoja kutusutaan joskus “foloihatuiksi”. Se johtuu siitä, että tarinoiden mukaan “humanoidit” ovat asettaneet ihmisten aivoihin implantteja, joiden avulla he voivat lukea meidän ihmisten aivojen sähköistä toimintaa ja lähettää tuota  EEG-käyrää jonnekin salaperäiselle keskus-tietokoneelle, ja jos ihminen päällystää lakkinsa foliolla, niin silloin tuon EEG-käyrää lähettämän radiolaitteen signaali saataisiin katkeamaan. Tuollainen implantti voisi olla sellainen, että sen avulla voidaan stimuloida esimerkiksi aivojen kipukeskusta, jolloin henkilöä voidaan hallita erittäin tehokkaasti.

Tuo elokuva “Moontrap”  on muuten oikeastaan erittäin hyvä katsoa siltä kannalta, että tiedemiehet tajuaisivat tekoälyn sekä tietokoneen ohjaaman tuotekehityksen vaarat, jota myös kirjailija Stanislaw Lem käsittelee kirjassaan “Rauha Maassa”, jossa aseiden kehitys on viety kuuhun. Tuossa tarinassa täysin automatisoidut tietokoneet, eli super-simulaattorit kehittävät uusia aseita sek selektiiviset simulaattorit taistelevat niitä vastaan, jotta järjestelmä löytäisi näistä välineistä heikkouksia.

Kun puhutaan tuollaisesta täysin automaattisesta tuotekehityksestä, josta voidaan käyttää termiä “mekaaninen evoluutio”, niin silloin kyllä puhutaan hyvin vakavasta asiasta, joka voisi teoriassa aiheuttaa ihmiskunnan tuhon. Tuo tekoälyyn perustuva simulaatio-laitteisto on tietenkin varustettava evoluutio-mallilla, joka sallii ensinnäkin taktiikan sekä välineiden toimivuuden analysoinnin, ja sitten kun tuo super-simulaattori tuo virtuaaliselle taistelukentälle uuden koneen tai asejärjestelmän, niin sitten selektiivinen simulaattori käy taisteluun sitä vastaan yrittäen löytää siitä heikkouksia, ja kun simuloitu taistelu on ohi, niin sitten tuo tekoälyyn perustuva opponentti eli selektiivinen simulaattori lähettää parannus-ehdotuksen laitteistoon kuuluvalle automaattiselle  tekoälylle eli super-simulaattorille, joka sitten korjaa noiden välineiden puutteita.

Kuitenkin tällainen järjestelmä varsinkin yksin jätettynä on hyvin vaarallinen, koska se saattaa kehittää sellaisia järjestelmiä, joita vastaan ei ehkä olekaan niin helppoa puolustautua. Ja kyseessä saattaisi tuolloin olla esimerkiksi keinotekoisten hyönteisten tai nano-kokoisten helikopterien parvi, joka on varustettu hajautetulla tekoälyllä, mikä tarkoittaa sitä, että nuo laitteet omaavat yhteisen IP-osoitteen jonka kautta niiden tietokoneet toimivat kuin yksi valtavan suuri tietokone, ja tuolloin sitten voi seurauksena olla se, että noita laitteita ohjaava tekoäly ikään kuin riistäytyy hallinnasta.

Muuten tuollaista nano-helikopterien parvea on  tietenkin melko helppoa häiritä, jos vain tarpeeksi noita helikoptereita saadaan tuhottua, niin silloin niiden teho loppuu. Mutta kun puhutaan esimerkiksi tilanteesta, missä järjestelmään kuuluu automatisoitu tuotanto-yksikkö, joka kykenee tuottamaan 3D-printterien sekä robottien avulla uusia RPV-robotteja, niin silloin tietenkin kyseessä on erittäin vaarallinen väline.

Tuollainen tuotantoyksikkö voidaan sijoittaa esimerkiksi rekan konttiin, ja jos tuollaiset helikopterit on varustettu oikeanlaisilla ohjelmilla sekä sensoreilla, niin ne voivat etsiä maasta malmeja sekä raaka-aineita, mitkä takaavat tietenkin sitten rajattoman tuotantokapasiteetin. Tuossa mallissa ongelmia sitten tulee lähinnä fyysisten osien valmistuksessa, ja nuo tarvittavat keinoäly-ohjelmat voidaan kopioida noihin laitteisiin tehokkaasti, ja kuten muistamme, niin tietokoneohjelmat ovat immateriaalisia tuotteita, joiden määrä ei vähene vaikka niitä kopioidaan kuinka paljon tahansa.

Tuollainen nano-helikopterien parvi voidaan varustaa esimerkiksi mikroaalto-laitteilla, joiden avulla ne sitten voivat kuumentaa kohdettaan. Vaikka yhden tuollaisen robotin käyttämä säteilyteho ei ole mitenkään erityisen suuri, niin kun suuri määrä noita laitteita kohdistaa mikroaaltolaitteensa samaan kohteeseen, niin siinä sitten alkaa isokin pinta kuumentua. Ja jos ne kohdistavat mikroaalto-lähettimensä esimerkiksi ihmiseen, niin silloin saattaa käydä niin, että kohde ikään kuin räjähtää palasiksi.  Tai jos oikein tarkasti ajatellaan, niin tuollainen tuotanto-yksikkö voisi toimia periaatteessa kuten keinotekoinen solu, jolle nuo automaattiset välineet tuovat raaka-aineita joista se sitten luo uusia mikropiirejä sekä muita varusteita. Tuollainen keinotekoinen solu on siis oikeastaan vain tehdaslaitos, mikä sitten voi tuottaa kopioita itsestään.

Tässä skenaariossa sillä olisi käytössään automatisoituja puskutraktoreita ja muita maansiirtokoneita, joilla olisi käytössään esimerkiksi laser-spektrometrejä, joiden avulla ne voivat etsiä esimerkiksi piitä sekä muita mineraaleja, ja tuollaisella robotti-laitoksella voisi olla käytössään myös esimerkiksi sentrifugi-erottimia, sekä mikroaalto-tekniikkaan perustuvia masuuneja, joiden avulla se voi erottaa haluamiaan alkuaineita toisistaan. Tuollaisen välineen vieminen esimerkiksi toiselle planeetalle voisi olla hyvin houkuttelevaa, mutta jos joku sitten unohtaa sen sinne, niin silloin voi käydä niin, että nuo välineet hyökkäävät sitten maan ihmisiä eli luojaansa vastaan. Ja silloin voimme vain toivoa, että noiden tietokoneiden osaaminen tällä alalla olisi huonompaa kuin ihmisten.
