When we are researching small things, we can find solutions to big problems. By researching how plasma disks behave around regular stars. Researchers try to understand the behavior of the galaxies better. The idea is that the same things that are happening around proto-stars can also happen in galaxy-sized structures. So researchers want to transform the things that happening near some young star into the macro-environment called galaxies and galaxy clusters.
The rotation of galaxies is interesting. The reason why the center of galaxies is not rotating as it should is interesting. One of the reasons for that is the internal friction of the material disk. The friction at the outer edge of the galaxy is lower than in the middle of the galaxy. The thing is that there are many forces like gravitation and electromagnetic forces that are affecting the plasma disk around the supermassive black hole at the center of the galaxy.
The rotation of elliptic galaxies is one source of the forces that are ripping the universe into pieces. Or at least causes the expansion of the universe.
The material disk in the galaxy is mainly plasma. And that means there are also electromagnetic interactions. But the thing is that the rotating plasma disk also transports energy out from the supermassive black hole that should be found in the center of all elliptic galaxies.
The rotation of the elliptic galaxies is one source of the forces that are ripping the universe into pieces. Or at least causes the expansion of the universe.
When the material disk rotates the black hole there is leaving wave motion and material that pushes the edge of the known universe outwards. When some astronomers say that there is no edge of the universe they are right. There should not be a sharp edge that will surround the universe. But of course, there is the point that plasma and the first particles that are left from the Big Bang reach.
There is a theory about some kind of plasma core around the universe. But the fact is that the universe expands faster than light. The reason for that is that the universe is a quantum system. That is in the middle of the "nothing". That means energy travels out from the universe to that great nothingness. And if the photons are leaving from the edge of the universe. They can travel faster than any photon inside our universe.
The only thing that limits speed outside the universe is the gravitation of the universe. There are no quantum fields. That can slow the speed of the particles outside the universe. The thing is that when the universe loses some particles it will never get them back. And that means the universe loses its mass all the time.
Because the mass of the universe decreases. That thing expands the speed of cosmic inflation. The expansion of space relative to the matter means that the distances of the particles grow too. That means that the gravitational effect that keeps the universe in its form turns weaker.
Whenever the universe loses particles it loses its mass. Even if, the universe's mass is giant. The number of particles in the universe is limited. And every lost particle causes the mass of the universe decreases. That thing means that the Big Rip would be the end of the universe. 'When the distance of the particles turns high enough that causes the material is starting to turn wave motion. And that thing causes the universe will be gone. But that's only one of the models of the Ultimate fate of the universe.
