The plastic waste can turn into diamonds.

Plastic is a hydrocarbon material. That means its main carbon and some other elements. In plastic, the structure where other atoms are connected is the carbon chains. Diamonds are pure carbon. Or actually, they are crystallized forms of carbon. And that means everything where carbon atoms can turn to diamonds. In the old method, the system uses a chemical reaction chamber.
The process that turns plastic waste into diamonds is simple. Researchers can separate carbon from other atoms in the reaction chamber. And then they can make that hot carbon react in the pressure chamber. That system requires a special chemical environment.
In the new method, the laser system shoots laser rays to plastic. That laser turns the plastic to a temperature of 6000 Celcius. And the shockwave turns that material into diamonds. This system emulates the conditions that are making diamonds in a gas giant's atmosphere.
The ability to turn things like greenhouse gases into diamonds can use to store carbon. The greenhouse gasses can turn into diamonds by separating carbon from those molecules. Let's talk about lasers.
There is a limit to how powerful the laser can be. The thing that causes this effect is the asymmetry in photon flow. Because, photons are traveling overlapping, that causes internal interaction in laser rays.
There are always little differences in energy levels of photons that are in the different positions in laser rays. And that thing causes turbulence in the coherent light. In that case, the turbulence causes a lack of energy.
There is a possibility to increase the power of the laser ray by putting photons traveling in lines. If photons are forming straight wall-looking structures they are not disturbing each other so much. And that thing makes it possible to increase the power of the laser ray.
The thing that destroys the target is heat expansion. Or actually, the thing in the heat expansion destroys material is the end of the radiation. When energy stress ends, that thing causes the situation where the particle delivers its extra energy as the radiation impulse. That radiation impulse is the thing that destroys the bonds of the material.
The power of the laser is not as important as people think. The more important thing is how much energy the laser will deliver to the target during the operation.
The important thing is what kind of radiation it gives. Some lasers are giving short and high-energy pulses. That is knocking the target.

Hypersonic missiles are hard targets but "easy to destroy". If the air-defense weapons can track and aim bullets or missiles against hypersonic missiles they can destroy them. But the problem is that counter-weapons must hit to target. And the low-flying hypersonic weapon will not let a long time for reacting.
Hypersonic weapons have the same thing as all other missiles and airplanes. That thing is that they are easy to destroy if the ammunition hits to target. There are developed weapon systems that can shoot over a million small-caliber ammunition against the target. The problem is that those CIWS systems (Close-in Weapon systems) are using lots of ammunition.
And the ship needs an ammo ship for refilling its ammunition storage quite often. There are also missile-based systems that are shooting multiple missiles against incoming targets. But those systems are expensive, they are slow to reload. And the hypersonic warhead can be stealthy. They hit targets before their sound will reach them. And the radar echo from those targets is extremely weak.
The things like DEW (Direct Energy Weapons) is that they don't need ammunition. The laser systems can also use as Lidar. So that kind of system can see incoming warheads sooner than regular radars. There are developed anti-stealth systems that detect the visual image of the attacking systems. Also, infrared imaging systems are making it possible that the detector sees incoming hypersonic missiles.
Detection of hypersonic missiles is based on the use of satellites. Or some other high-flying platforms like GlobalHawk or some solar-power aircraft. One of those systems could be the blimp which orbits the naval unit near the edge of the atmosphere.
Those high-flying platforms should detect the rocket booster or the air channel or turbulence that the hypersonic weapon leaves after it. Then that system sends the information about that launch to predicted target areas. The problem is that the satellites and other platforms are good targets for the ASAT systems that can aim and destroy high-flying aircraft, blimps, and satellites.

One type of hypersonic weapon is a hard target even for laser systems. Those hypersonic weapons are rifle-caliber hypersonic weapons. Those systems can shoot even millions of bullets against their targets. The speed of each bullet can be over Mach 6.
China is testing a new hypersonic weapon. The hypersonic bullet travels with a speed that over 4000 meters per second. The hypersonic bullet is a new type of weapon that can destroy tanks and armored vehicles. The hypersonic bullet is the thing that makes personal armor like bullet-proof vests useless. The hypersonic bullets are the thing that is making the Scifi-superweapons true.
Navies are testing railguns that are using hypersonic bullets. Those hypersonic bullets are meant to destroy incoming missiles. Lockheed -Martin "Helios"-naval laser system enters service.
The new tool for military systems is lasers. The Helios-type laser systems are offering ultimate defensive and offensive systems. Laser weapons with adjustable power can use for laser communication, laser eavesdropping, and spectrographic intelligence tools. In the last case, the laser will stress the target's atoms. The solar sails are effective systems for researching our solar system. The high-power laser system can send the swarm of probes outside the solar system and even to other solar systems. In that, the most extreme version of that project. There would be made a chain of ultra-powerful lasers in the solar system.
And then those lasers would give a punch for the solar sail when it travels through that point. The lasers can be fusion-powered systems that are basing Tokamak-reactor. In the missions to the outer side of the solar system or even to other solar systems the solar sail would use the outcoming energy as long as possible. The quantum tornadoes and quantum computers (Quantum tornadoes Part II)
The quantum tornadoes have a similar effect in the quantum world like a sonic whirl. That thing denies that the outcoming wave movement can affect particles like electrons that are traveling in it.
The atom-size quantum tornadoes can use to turn the laser rays to screw. And that thing makes new possibilities for creating new quantum tools. The laser ray would shoot through the electromagnetic tornado. And that will affect the direction of the light. The electromagnetic tornado can use to create the laser ray that acts like an archimedean screw. Or it can use to make hollow laser rays. The hollow laser rays make it possible to shoot qubits through that quantum channel.

Could there be hidden alien civilizations in the universe?
The quantum brains
The most extreme vision of alien intelligence is the "quantum brains". The quantum brain is the of micro-size black holes in which the oscillating quantum field is acting like the membrane of the neuron. The X-ray beam from the poles of the black holes are acting as the axon.
A similar structure can form by using ions or electrons. The idea of the quantum brain is that the quantum fields and other structures of ions, atomic and subatomic particles, or small black holes can form quantum-size structures. That is acting like neurons in human brains.
Before we are trying to think about this thing, we should describe the term "alien civilization". The best description for the alien civilization could be the entirety that is controlled by intelligence. That intelligence can be biological, or it can be artificial intelligence. Or it can be hybrid quantum computers and living neurons. And of course, parasitic aliens can be unseen. If the parasitic aliens are infecting only a certain part of the population. That means that they are hard to find.
Those neurons can communicate with the quantum system by using nano-size microchips. The alien intelligence can be something that we might not even imagine. The form of the alien civilization could be a group of individuals like we are. Or it might be the group of brains under the glass dome.
And in the last case, the brains are connected with the robot body that is working under remote control. In some of the most futuristic visions, alien intelligence could be the form of an intelligent city.
The intelligent city would be the quantum computer and the neurons that are working as an entirety. So the alien would be like fungus that lives between the walls of those buildings that are the quantum computers. That quantum-biological entirety acts as the controller of the robots.
The simplest example of the hidden alien civilization would be the alien group That lives underground cities below the surface of their home planet. And if some alien lives on underground bases that means that the planet is not their original home planet. In this case, the alien would come from another solar system. And the surface of the planet would be hostile for the alien race. This thing came to my mind. When I watched the movie about "Hidden alien civilizations" on YouTube.
The laser satellites can deliver energy to distant planets.
The Nicoll-Dyson beams are the most extremely lasers we can imagine. The parabolic mirrors or large group of mirror satellites are collecting the entire energy of a star into one extremely powerful laser beam. That laser can use as a superweapon. Or it can deliver energy to the icy planets of red dwarfs.
The mega lasers can use for both purposes energy supply and weapons. Those systems can destroy the dangerous asteroids and help the mining by cutting large asteroids into smaller parts that they can send to bases by using mass drivers.
If we are thinking about icy planets. If there is a lot of water ice. The hypothetical advanced alien civilization can create an oxygen-rich atmosphere very easily. They must just melt the ice and then break the water molecules by using electrolysis. And even the distant star can give enough energy for that thing.
The system bases the power satellites that are orbiting the star of the solar system very close. And then the power satellites are delivering energy to the distant planet by using laser rays. This type of system can allow creating an atmosphere for distant planets even if they are covered by ice. And the energy supply for the stations is possible to make by using the same laser rays that are targeted to relay satellites. Then those relay satellites will transmit energy to the underground or underwater station by using high-power EM-radiation.
In some visions in the huge oceans of the icy moons of Jupiter can be created the hovering, underwater station. Those stations can solve the problem of the weak gravitation of those icy moons. But the large icy planet with the magnetic field makes it possible to create an artificial atmosphere for that planet by using electrolysis.

Brighter than radiation cooler than a neutron bomb
When Werner Heisenberg realized that the while photon or electron is traveling through the atmosphere sending radiation while they are slowing. That man created an idea of quantum annealing. The thing quantum annealing means that the energy load of the particles has risen to a certain level. All atomic and subatomic particles have an attempt to reach the base level.
And the base level of energy is the same as the energy of the environment around it. So if we think very carefully about the need for nuclear material what is needed to make the bomb depends on the temperature where the bomb detonated. Neutron radiation kills living organisms because it destroys the DNA of living organisms. And that is the reason why so-called "micro-nukes" are so feared. The neutron radiation is released also from large-scale nukes. But in neutron bombs that effect is dominating. The origin of the neutron bomb is the idea that neutron radiation can detonate incoming missiles before they are reaching targets. But that weapon is most well-known in the effect that the material is left untouchable but living organisms are dying.
Could neutron radiation-based laser be possible? Sometimes this kind of system is criticized as an attempt to create ERW without a fission bomb.
The neutron radiation would be suitable for some laser solutions. But how to make that radiation without neutron bombs? In some ideas, the plutonium plates will simply cool by using Bose-Einstein condensate when the energy from those bites will start to transfer to the lower energetic space. But this system requires the begin location for mapping, or it is useless. This is the problem with this system. Also, the problem is to make it enough small that person can carry it in the pocket, and the need of speed information makes this thing hard to use in ground vehicles. Setting the beginning point of navigation is also difficult if the person jumps by using a parachute, where the beginning point is hard to locate.
The answer for the problem could be the very sharp magnetic compass, what bases technology, where the layer is floating in the magnetic field, and the multiple lasers are observing the position of that thing. The new kind of systems might be the combination, where is magnetic and gyro compass working together. Those systems might be very small and that would make them very light and effective.
The magnetic version of this compass works with a similar principle with normal magnetic compass, and the system calculates the place of the system by using the angle of the north pole for locating the system. The difference between the Inertial navigation system is that the plate must be in a stable position. There would be extremely thin magnet nail on it, and that makes possible to locate the magnetic north pole very sharply.
If those systems are based with nanotechnology, where the plates are extremely thin, and the width will be the only couple of micrometers and the size is smaller than coin or even the thumbtacks, the system would be extremely small. But of course, the operator needs more information and one is the knowledge about where the system is. So the operator must put the state or some coordinates, where he might be, that the computer can locate the person. This might be the next generation locating system.

Fictional travel to Alpha Centauri by using laser boosted solar sail

In this text, I would think about fictional space trip to Alpha Centauri by using solar sails, what are boosted with laser or microwave beams. The use of lasers with solar sails would give very much improvements to that system. The problems with laser-systems are that the material of the targeted spacecraft would be heated in extreme temperature, but when we are thinking about the use of lasers as the improve the thrust of that very large sail, we must think this problem practically.
Big size of solar sails would allow that the heat of the laser rays would circulate in the larger area, and that would help to decrease the heat, what powerful lasers would send to the target. Those lasers, what would be used in that kind of program, might be kilometers long, and they might be stationed near the Earth. Making those kilometers long free-electron lasers or powerful masers is a quite simple thing.
There must send many small satellites to space, and then those satellites must be connected together. In this case, those satellites would be equipped with the particle accelerator, what goes thru each satellite and then those satellites would be made very powerful ray, that can be targeted to the solar sail. In this case, the solar sail would be covered with ice, and that ice is no need to be made by water. Then the laser-ray would steam that ice, and that would improve the speed and thrust of the solar sail. This is the good thing to pump the energy for the spacecraft, that would send to Alpha Centauri in some day in future. The use of lasers or masers would allow using the power source of the spacecraft with smaller power, and that would increase the system lifetime.
When we are thinking about the structure of that solar sail, we might think, that there would be very many small units in this probe, and it would look like some jewels are connected with the same spiders net and the miniaturization and multiplication of that system would improve the solar sails ability to survive that mission. And when this solar sai comes near Alpha Centauri, it would turn sideways to the star, and then increase the layer, what would face the solar wind of that star. This would help it to transfer it to the orbital trajectory of that star.
And then it could send thousands of pea-sized miniature probes to the planets of that star. That would seem like science fiction, but using miniaturized probes that kind of mission would be done, and the destruction of one particle, would not destroy all probes, and this hypothetical mission would be accomplished surer than with one single probe. There is only one problem with that system, those massive lasers can be mentioned as the military technology. And that would cause the resistance against this kind of projects.

Secret "antigravity" technology

The term "antigravity" means the actually silent way to raise the aircraft from the ground. In the real world, this term actually means that engineers try to repeal the magnetic field of the Earth, what would cause that the aircraft would rise above the Earth. In some tests, there have been tested the magnets, what could push aircraft to airborne. They are actually one version of magnet catapults, but in this case, magnets would pull the aircraft straight to air, and in this system would be used the pulling effect between the same mark heads of the magnets.
And this kind of system is tested with levitating (Maglev) trains, where magnets push the train above the rail. Those magnetic rails would work the same way as gauss guns, where magnets will accelerate ammunition. Those magnets would be suitable to install in some warships or special runways, and they might help to send airplanes to air, with very heavy cargo. Also, pressurized air has been tested for giving airplanes capacity for lifting off with extra cargo, and in those systems, the pressurized air would blow under the body of aircraft by using compressors.
Sometimes there is mentioned the system called "Die Glocke" as one version of anti-gravity vehicle, and that is actually not true. This kind of systems are so-called "plasma-ion motors", and they are basically the same thing as ion motors. But they would use the greater density of ions. And those motors would work as the normal rocket or ion motors, but they are voiceless. Those motors would not use conventional combustion, and they can be used by giving electricity to that rocket with radio-masers. The same kind of systems are laser- and electric arc motors, what uses internal or external systems to make the warm air under the vehicle, and that heat would raise the aircraft to air.
Those internal lasers or radio systems could be targeted to carbon fiber stick, what would warm the air in the chamber under the craft. Or the electric arc can be made in the air, at the middle of the craft. In both versions, the problem of those systems is to create enough energy for raising that vehicle from the ground. The reason, why I took those laser and radio systems in this text at the same time, is that both systems use electromagnetic radiation for making enough heat, that it can raise the craft in the air.
And sometimes there would be tested the airship, where the heat of the air can be made by using radio waves to make the warm air in this vehicles balloon. So this kind of antigravity doesn't break laws of nature, and some of them are tested in public places, and below this text is one of those films, where the laser is used to give propulsion for small size test vehicle. And probably at someday, the full-scale system would fly across the earth.
