Quantum computers are the next-generation tools for many things.



A Quantum computer system calculates some calculations in less than a second. Binary computers use 9000 years for the same calculation.

So can we say that thing is a risk for data security? Quantum computers are the most powerful computing systems in the world. 

And they are bringing new risks and opportunities to the entire world. The biggest possibility is always the biggest threat. 

Quantum computers make a new type of complicated AI-based systems possible. And that thing will bring the ultimate possibilities to entertainment and science. If we are thinking that quantum computers follow a similar timeline to binary computers the first use of those systems is always scientific.

But when they are turning more common their price will turn lower. And their capacity will leave to the things like gaming. Today the most common use of the computer is entertainment. Movies and games are the most common ways to use computers. From pocket-size mobile devices to laptop computers. 

The first quantum computers are connected to the Internet. And there is always a risk that some hackers are hacking that kind of system. That means we should prepare for the quantum revolution by developing quantum-based data security.  

Quantum computers are turning more common all the time. That means the hackers can attack more targets. When quantum computers are turning more common some of those systems will sooner or get to the hands of people who do not care about their data security. So quantum computers are not yet a large-scale threat to data security. But when quantum systems turn more common, that will change the situation. 

Even if the first quantum systems are turning old-fashion they are still more effective than binary computers. And if somebody wants to hack the old fashion quantum computers are useful for that purpose. 

The thing is that when researchers are developing compact-size, and even portable quantum computers we must realize one thing. These portable systems are more effective than any binary computers even if they are less powerful than some kilometer-size quantum supercomputer.

So in the future, there might be quantum PC or quantum personal computers and quantum supercomputers. And we cannot expect that some quantum PC has the same capacity as quantum supercomputers. But those quantum PCs can break any code that is made by using binary computers.  

And quantum technology advances very fast. The reason for that is that quantum computers are involving this process. They can calculate and handle more complex things than any system before them. And that's why those systems are under the R&D process. 

The quantum computers offer an extremely good platform for the new type of communication. But those systems can also drive very complicated simulations of the behavior of the things like enzymes and molecules. But the biggest thing that quantum computers can make is act as the platform for the new metaverse. 

The metaverse is the combination of the virtual and real worlds. The metaverse is very close to the thing called "matrix". The metaverse is a series of virtual worlds. But the reality is that virtual worlds can also exist. The enhanced reality means that the robots like space probes transmit data from their sensors to the computer's screen. That screen can also be intelligent glasses or intelligent contact lenses. 

But metaverse is offering one of the most interesting visions ever introduced. The system can connect brains straight with the internet.

There is a risk in that kind of system. Because data is transmitted to brains straight through the cortex, brains can not make difference between virtual worlds and the real world. There is the possibility that this kind of system causes a situation where the person forgets to eat and drink if that person uses this kind of EEG-control system. 

The EEG connection or cortex simulation means that people can control robots like they are their bodies. The cortex- or brain-core stimulation can be the next-generation tool for virtual reality. But that thing can be dangerous in the wrong hands.
