Kun katson taivaalle näin kesäiltana, niin on pakko sanoa, että tuo taivas noiden pilvien takana muistuttaa valtamerta. Jo muinaiset kreikkalaiset uskoivat, että tuolla pilvien takana on valtameri, jossa on ikään kuin samanlaisia olentoja kuin me ihmiset olemme. Eli kyseessä on legendaarinen ajatelma ontosta maapallosta, missä elämä on sijoittunut kahden pallon väliin, ja me ihmiset sitten olisimme täällä sisemmällä pallon pinnalla, ja toinen laji, jota kutsumme enkeleiksi asuisivat tuolla meihin päin olevassa valtameressä.

Tuollainen teoria ei ehkä kuullosta kenestäkään kovin tieteelliseltä, mutta jos tarkemmin ajatellaan, niin tuo valtameri kyllä pysyisi tuon onton pallon alapinnalla, koska keskipakovoima pitää sen pintaa vasten painettuna. Näin ollen sen asukkaat sitten voivat elää muiden häiritsemättä piilossa sen pinnan alla.

Tuollainen ontto planeetta voisi kuitenkin olla myös keinotekoinen Mylar-pallo, jonka paksuus olisi vain muutaman atomin verran, ja jonka pintaan tuo sivilisaatio sitten rakentaisi oikeaa planeettaa muistuttavan pinnan, mikä suojaisi tuota mylar-pintaa meteorien törmäykseltä.
