The USA or it's military personnel are under investigation of the war crimes, and there would be very interesting to know, why that personnel is investigated now. If the question is about torture, where is used water, that technique has been known in public for many years. So why the investigations are beginning now? Why didn't they begin earlier? Or is the question about the shooting civilians? The crimes, what are under the investigation should be identified.
In the war against terrorism is one very bad thing. The opponent would not also follow the international law, and they use torture in every day. Also, many African nations are not care anything about human rights. There is one thing, what we must remember when some state would play global police force, and it's that when somebody would go to war, there would be persons, who cannot control themselves in interrogation situations. When we are talking about so-called water torture, where water is dropped on the face of the victim, we are facing the very dangerous situation.
Somebody would use this technique for forcing to give false testimonies and also to give testimonies what satisfies the interrogators, and this is the problem of torture. That can be misuse for covering own crimes because the victim has the will to satisfy the torturer, and give testimonies, what pleases that person. When we are talking about the water torture, there are two ways to use that method. Another one is to drop the water no the face of the victim, and sometimes the canvas is used for giving the force of this technique.
But another is very frightening, and it's totally against humanity. The method is that the water would spill in the mouth of the victim, by using a funnel. This torture method was the most frightening of the methods, what was used in the Medieval period. It was used also for executing the prisoners, and the death was very painful because the stomach was ripped. Even if the meaning of torture were not killed the victim, the use of too much water caused death.
If that torture method was used, that would be a crime against humanity. But when we are talking about war crimes in Afghanistan and Iraq, we cannot be sure are those actions made by military and CIA, or are they done by some security companies, who worked for somebody, who don't want to tell the identity. And were those things made under the supervision of the authorities or are they made without telling anybody.
