Pressure might be a new type of backup and communication system.




Pressure- or acoustic computers are less vulnerable to electromagnetic radiation. But they are less effective than regular computers. The futuristic pressure computer uses intelligent material that is inspired by shark skin. That system can use in communication between underwater drone swarms and submarines. 

And maybe someday those pressure computers are operating as a backup- or secondary computing systems for some robots. Those pressure computers also allow the system to communicate underwater by using sonar-based data transmission. 

Using the different types of acoustic layers that resonate with different frequencies. That thing allows the creation of acoustic qubits. In sound-based qubits, the system creates superposition using different sound frequencies. 

The pressure computers can download new operating systems for regular computers if their main data structure is corrupt. That means the system can restore its operating system from that kind of backup system. And it makes the computer less vulnerable to EMP pulses. 

Maybe pressure computers are not same way effective in the same way as other computers. But those systems can use along with regular and photonic computers. 

The problem with regular computers is that they are vulnerable to electromagnetic radiation. That's why researchers make computers that use mechanical pressure to transmit information. The pressure-operating computer can use piezo-electric crystals that connect to the microchips. Those piezo-electric crystals have one purpose. 

They transform pressure signals into electric signals. And that means the computer can transfer information by using materials like oil. That is not inducting electricity. When the computer is in a high-power electromagnetic field the copper wires in it act as antennas. 

The use of pressure tubes allows for minimizing the layer where the EMP-pulse inducts electricity. So that system allows the computer can operate in a powerful electromagnetic field. The computers that operate using pressure impulses might not so fast as photonic or electric computers. 

But those systems can use as backup systems for robots that operate in a high-power electromagnetic field. That means the pressure computer can turn the robot into a "zombie mode". The zombie mode means that. If there are some kinds of problems with the main computer the pressure computer can aim the device away from the electromagnetic field. Or it can control the system when the regular main computer is unable to operate.
